It was about five years back that this fun and adventure filled journey started as I tasted the first drop of sweet things to come. I stepped into the dynamic world of motoring-journalism and there’s been no looking back ever since. Of course there were hiccups; but then again, what would an adventurous journey be without minor setbacks? The setbacks only proved to be perfect canvases to paint the grit and determination on.
And so, after a lot of trials, failings and valuable learning, here I am; with an automotive lifestyle platform called ‘Motoring & Beyond’. Though I am starting with a blog, Motoring & Beyond, I assure you, will be heavy on content and will offer review and feature rich experience to them who care to check it out.
Through Motoring & Beyond, initial plans are to share elaborate and evaluative road-tests/reviews of the cars, feature articles, news from the industry and our travel experiences with you. Additionally, there will be some good photographs that will surely be of the quality to decorate the screens of your desktops and/or laptops, if anyone bothers to download them, that is.
A dear friend and I together managed to prepare a really detailed doc file that, alarmingly, somehow qualified as a proper business project-report. Doing this was quite difficult for us, I must add, as neither of us is skilled enough to do such professional things. Anyway, why I am telling you about all this is because in that so-called project report, we included all the plans and activities that we have in mind to execute in the coming months, and years. It’s something like Indian government’s five-year plan, only a lot less complicated.
As Motoring & Beyond grows with time, there are plans to have activities ranging from regular road-tests to travelogues. From track events to our own branded motor-racing championship, on our own racing track! We have always believed in engaging our users on an emotional level, taking them along with us and making them feel the essence and effect of the journey. And we will do our small bit, whenever viable, to organize events and exclusive congregations for our users.
A lot of work coming up for us blokes, then. And we can only but hope that you will enjoy reading whatever we publish as much as we’ll enjoy doing it.
